CD1a is mainly expressed in dendritic cells and thymic cortex cells, 70% of thymocytes are positive. It's not expressed in early thymocytes or mature thymocytes. CD1a can be used to differentiate thymic tumors from primary lung tumors.
CD20 was distributed in all mature B cells, but plasma cells were mostly negative. CD20 is expressed in the vast majority of B-cell leukemia/lymphomas. Some myeloma and about 50% of B-cell lymphoblastic lymphomas are also positive for CD20, while T-cell lymphomas are almost negative. CD20 is the most commonly used B-cell marker and is mostly used to label B lymphocytes and B-cell lymphomas.
CD20 is mainly expressed on B cells, Pro B cell anaphase and other B cells expect Plasma cells, CD20 Antibody does not cross-react with T cells which possesses better cellular specificity to B cell lymphoma and acute &chronic lymphocytic leukemia,etc.
CD21, also known as complement receptor type 2 (CR2) and Epstein-Barr virus receptor, is expressed on follicular dendritic cells (FDCS) and B lymphocytes. It can be used to show the FDC network in the follicle and understand whether the lymph node structure is destroyed. Follicular dendritic cell sarcoma was positive for CD21. CD21 can also be used to identify abnormal follicular dendritic cell patterns in angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma and follicular T-cell lymphoma.
